Spring Dance Concert

Galloway, N.J. — Every year, Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s Dance program performs a repertoire from notable choreographers that challenges student performers and entertains audiences. This year, the Spring Dance Concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. from Thursday, Feb. 26 to Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, in the Performing Arts Center.

Spring Dance Concert

Mark Caserta, artistic director of BigKid Dance, and Swarthmore College’s Chandra Moss-Thorne will join Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ resident choreographers Beau Hancock, Caitlin Quinn Pittenger and Lauren Putty White.

Caserta is a Princess Grace Award recipient and a former Complexions Contemporary Dance company member. BigKid Dance was the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Dance program’s Company Residency artists in 2025 and presents a challenging new work of thought-provoking contemporary dance from a queer lens.

Moss-Thorne, a former Dance Theatre of Harlem dancer, will debut choreography that highlights her unique perspective on contemporary ballet. She’s Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s 2026 guest-artist-ini-residence.

This concert will also include the work of senior Dance Studio Operations major Shanna Landestoy from Clifton. Landestoy’s work “Beneath the Maskâ€was adjudicated by Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Dance Faculty and premiered at the 2025 Fall Choreography Project.

“Having my work presented in the Spring Dance Concert is a testament to the amount of support I have received from my professors in my time at Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾. As an emerging choreographer, my professors have played an essential role in helping me discover my voice and embrace the importance of asking questions," Landestoy said.
