Tech Trek Camp Named ‘2018 Inspiring Programs in STEM Award’
Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s AAUW Tech Trek Camp, an opportunity for middle school girls
to participate in a weeklong summer STEM experience, has been named a recipient of
INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine’s “2018 Inspiring Programs in STEM Award.â€
Benefit Raises More than $11,000 for Student Relief Fund
More than 60 Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ supporters gathered on August 23 at Tavern on the Bay to raise
funds for the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Foundation’s Student Relief Fund. The fund assists Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ students who encounter severe financial emergencies or
experience catastrophic events which make them financially vulnerable.

Atlantic City Shuttle Service
Shuttle service is now offered seven days a week to and from Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Atlantic City. Both
the Galloway campus and Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Atlantic City provide free transportation for faculty,
students and staff with their Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ ID.
³§³Ù´Ç³¦°ì³Ù´Ç²Ô’s Editorial Style Guide
³§³Ù´Ç³¦°ì³Ù´Ç²Ô’s Editorial Style Guide has been updated to include Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Atlantic City in the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Locations section. There’s also a separate Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Atlantic City section with guidelines for using first and second references.
SPOTLIGHT ON
Eight Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ students who interned with the National Aviation Research & Technology Park (NARTP) at the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center presented their research at the 2018 NARTP Summer Internship Debrief on August 28 at the center.
FRAME-WORTHY

Tuition Exchange
³§³Ù´Ç³¦°ì³Ù´Ç²Ô’s status in The Tuition Exchange program has been upgraded because the University’s
imports to exports ratio has improved. As a result, Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ will be able to award
three scholarships for Fall 2019. If you are a full-time employee and are interested
in your high school senior dependent being considered, please review the Tuition Exchange Procedure and the link to the online applications. The deadline to apply is Sept. 15. Questions? Please contact Thomas P. Chester,
