Joe Bertolino Named Next President
Greetings Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Family,
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I'm very pleased to officially announce the appointment of Dr. Joe Bertolino as the University's next president.
Bertolino comes to Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ from Southern Connecticut State University, where he has served as president since 2016. Bertolino has more than 30 years of experience in higher education. He will start this new role on July 1, 2023.

The Presidential Search Committee, charged with building a broad, diverse pool of candidates and conducting outreach
and interviews, ultimately will make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees for
election of the next president. The committee will solicit input and nominations from
the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ community throughout this process.
