What to Expect

After a Referral is Submitted

1. Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Cares Staff will review the referral

    

2. Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Cares Staff will connect with the student(s) for more information and follow up

   • The student will be connected to a Case Manager who will work directly with the student to provided resources both on and off campus that will help the student continue on their Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ journey. 

3. Depending on the referral, a Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Cares staff member may reach out to the referral party to gather more information

   • Due to the nature of the referral, the referrer may not receive information about the student(s) follow up and services. 

4. If the situation requires an immediate response, Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Police may be called if the referral is related to a threat of harm to self or others
