Education Initiative

The Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Maple Project continuously offers educational workshops to members of our local community and to educators in P-12 schools. Our workshops incorporate many variations and combinations of these three main topics, including science, sustainability, and reciprocity (i.e. a Native American and ecological concept focused on returning resources to the environment after or before a harvest).

 

Our workshops take place on the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ campus, in various tapping hubs and community events such as the Batsto Village Country Living Fair, and by arrangement with local educators in schools. This page also links to materials from maple-rich regions that educators will find useful.
